Weather, you cannot do anything about it, it will do what it does and with no exceptions. I know I am not the only one to question the useless weather information that comes from the Met Office. Seriously, why does the Met Office have as much funding as they do? Weather forecasts ao better now then 30 years ago.
According to the Met Office, this winter is going to be colder than last winter. Now I remember that before last winter the Met Office issued a statements saying they expected the winter to be extremely cold, so what happened? It was a very mild winter. Before this summer the Met Office were warning us it was going to be the hottest summer on record, so what happened? It rained cats and dogs and was one of the coldest summers I have ever known.
So with all the multi-millions that are spent producing weather reports do the meteorologists get it so spectacularly wrong so frequently?
What is the point of spending millions of pounds when mother nature can change her mind at any time? If it’s going to rain, it’s going to rain, there is nothing that I, you or sexy Sian Lloyd can do about it. (Although it’s fair to say that I would be happy to show Sian Lloyd my sunny side)
Forget spending all this money on forecasting the weather; Let’s cull the Met Office and spend the cash on our schools, or curing homelessness.

1To quote Bill Bryson “Dry and warm, but cooler with some rain” could be the forecast here every day.
Sian Lloyd, really? More a Louise Lear person myself.
