They are cheap and you can tell! The sound quality is pretty rubbish, build quality is rubbish but for 8 you can't go wrong.
Also, they have the type of cable you wrap around you head, one cord is long thant the other.

I bought these to replace my ipod earphone which I'd managed to break. I was very disappointed with the sound quality which was really tinny but I also found it amplified the noise of the wire moving around as I walked, sounding like thunder in the background of the music.

Bought these from Amazon marketplace (A V Limited) for my new Sansa Clip MP3 based on good Amazon reviews, was a little cynical about the cheap 8inc delivery price when they are typically on sale for 15-20+ elsewhere. Took the plunge anyway.
Sound quality is absolutely terrible, incredibly tinny with zero bass. Tried all the ear buds to make sure it wasn't fit that was the problem.
Replaced with the MP3 player supplied earphones - significantly better and the Sansa ones are supposed to be very poor if you read the Sanas Clip reviews !
Don't buy this item from this supplier, maybe the more expensive versions on offer will be genuiune / better ?????

Many years ago as a schoolkid, when in-ear headphones were in their infancy, I stupidly bought a 99p set of chunky Chinese plastic in-ear headphones with hideous orange sponge covers that were in a cassette case. The sound was plastic, fragile and "boxy", midranges at all but lowest volumes were clearly pushing the tiny diaphragms beyond their physical limits and upon inserting them you could hear said tiny diaphragms crunching like crisp packets before even switching on. I was instantly reminded of these headphones when I inserted the CX-300s into my ears and more so when I then pressed play on my Walkman! Bass is good but not astounding and the highest trebles do have a clean sparkle but the overall shrill boxy sound from the midrange overpowers it all unless you do some severe adjustments to EQ and then also lose any depth of sound you may have had. They are however very sensitive which allows them to be used at comfortable listening levels at much lower output volumes to save battery or to get more volume out of otherwise quiet/restricted devices. They are also comfortable and secure in the ear and good at blocking out external noise which allows you to hear the brittle plastic boxy sound all the better...

Just recieved these earphones in the post and already I love them. Previously had the standard iPod earphones which are not great at all. I only paid 7.50 for these earphones from another popular site.... I recommend these earphones as an upgrade to the standard iPod earphones.
