Best purchase for ages September 25, 2008 M. DICK (Aberdeenshire) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is an excellent mouse, you won't be disappointed. Easy to get started, straight out of the box and away. The dongle is minute. The mouse is precise and fast.
Too small for average sized hand - gives pain after repeated use September 14, 2008 AliMac (London) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this on the basis of the excellent reviews, and was initially very pleased with it - so much that I ordered another for my children. However, after 2-3 weeks of use I've found it giving me pains in my hand, and have had to abandon it. It's a lovely design and very neat - but you need to check that it will work for your hand size, otherwise, like me, you could end up regretting it.
Hideously uncomfortable August 31, 2008 Toad 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've had this mouse for only a day. So far it seems to work okay, so I have no complaints on that front (although any problems with usage are not too likely to show up on Day 1). However, it's the most uncomfortable mouse I've ever tried. The whole idea of making ambitextrous contoured mice is completely misconceived. In an effort to contour the mouse so that it's comfortable for both right and left handers, all Logitech have succeeded in doing is making it comfortable for neither. The navigation (forward and back) buttons are located on the top of the mouse, where they are not comfortably reachable by any finger. The effect of the contoured shape is that both thumb and outer fingers are pushed closer in towards the centre, creating a 'claw' shape, with no support for the outer hand. This is not the way to solve the needs of the 'lefties' - the only way to do this is to do left handed and right handed versions of the mouse. I simply can't use this product, and have had to order a different mouse, effectively doubling the cost. I would return this one but, in the usual nature of these things, the packaging is impossible to open without tearing, and the product is not faulty, just bad. Unless you want your RSI to develop earlier, I would steer clear of this product.
Best mouse I've ever used August 16, 2008 A. EVANS (Edinburgh) I can't recommend this mouse highly enough. I've got a laptop running Vista and a 5G iMac and it works perfectly on both. In fact, I've stopped using my Apple mighty mouse at all. The build quality is superb, the USB dongle is impossibly small and slots neatly into the bottom of the mouse when not in use. It comes with a mini USB dock for computers with USB ports at the rear only. The added mouse functions are really useful, (back/forward buttons for faster Web navigation) and the mouse comes in a neat protective pouch. The whole package just oozes quality. I can't see myself ever wanting to use a different mouse. 5 out of 5.
Great for MACs August 5, 2008 Custardbanjo (UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have a MacBook Pro with a MightyMouse - my advice is ditch the MightyMouse, Apple really should remove the word Mighty in name of misrepresentation. The Logitech is superb, smooth to use, responsive and versatile - I even use it for gaming on my PC... and it's so jaw droppingly cute it even matches the MacBook Pro for looks.
