Presenting Breakfast is a dream job, says Natasha Kaplinsky, apart from one major draw-back: the working hours.
Each morning, Natasha used to get up at 0315, to give herself time to prepare for the programme, which is live on air from 0600.
She has to make sure she looks good - and also that she's well briefed on the dozen or so live interviews she does on an average morning.
Natasha joined Breakfast in November 2002, when Sophie Raworth left to become co-presenter of the BBC's Six O'clock News.
She says: "The first thing Sophie said when she handed over was it's a fantastic job - once you've got your head around the working hours." So, armed with Sophie's advice, Natasha now goes to bed at 8pm each evening.
"If I'm asleep by 9pm, I'm on a winner," she says. Now Natasha has shown another side to her when she appeared on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. The dance show gave us a further insight to Natasha. Let's face it the only reason anyone watches the show is to perv at the women contestants - other than that, it's shit!
