Kate is clever, she has a BSc in Psychology from Durham University - and spent a year taking Arabic and Middle Eastern politics. Kate worked for Sky TV and The Travel Channel before joining the BBC.
She co-presented Radio Five Live's weekend Breakfast show with Brian Alexander - Kate Silverton has also appeared on The Heaven and Earth show.
