The problem with Littlehampton is…….
On the whole Littlehampton can’t be a bad place to live; there are very good leisure facilities to suit all ages such as the leisure centre, pitch ‘n put and immaculate grass tennis courts, the harbour for water sports and arguably the best beach in Sussex for Kite Surfing.
As an occupant of nearby seaside town I would say that we are lacking in everyway compared to the Littlehampton leisure facilities and over the past few years Littlehampton has had an influx of new London style harbour flats and property built in and around the town for retired city workers.
With so many great facilities you would think that it would be the most ideal place to live in the whole of the UK, however, here is the down-side, the PEOPLE. Now I’m not saying everyone in Littlehampton is scum, only 99.99% of them, believe me I am speaking from experience.
During the day the town is a nice place, but after sunset it becomes its counterpart down-town LA. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been enjoying an evening out in one of Littlehampton classy drinking establishments and had to duck out to avoid a bar-room brawl. Based on personal experience, if you do find yourself out and about in the pub, do not and I repeat do not take anyone home, because she will ruin your life by:
a. getting pregnant
b. give you an STD
c. both
They probably have the worst schools, highest teen pregnancies, highest crime rates, highest numbers of immigrants and brothels (above the Kebab houses) etc.. etc.. than any other town in Sussex.
You have to wonder why anybody would choose to live in Littlehampton?
The property market is always the best indicator as to how bad an area truly is and the less square footage you get for your money you can guarantee the worse the area is.
For example I looked at a local estate agent to see how much property prices were in Littlehampton. I was quite shocked at the outcome, with property prices in Littlehampton being more expensive then the property prices in neighbouring town, Worthing.
This surely proves that Littlehampton people are stupid; for Christ’s sake surely you would have to be stupid to pay over the odds for property in Littlehampton to live in incest town.
The local government can do all they want to try and improve the town, however in my opinion they are just covering up the cracks, because as everyone knows it’s a shit-hole and the only way Littlehampton will change ever its reputation is to get rid of the population and start again, something that will never happen.
