Pay cuts for greedy TV stars like Carol Vorderman

I was interested to read that Carol Vorderman is incensed she had to take a 90% pay to carry on presenting Countdown.

Let’s face facts, Carol Vorderman is a very clever lady - but a million pounds to turn a few cards over, who are you trying to kid?

It is high time some of these overpaid TV presenters got a taste of reality. £150,000 for Carol’s job is more than enough - let’s face it you don’t need to be a genius to do what Carol does.Let’s hope the robbing bastards at the BBC recognise the days of celebrity are coming to an end and slash waste of space Jonathan Ross’ wages by 90% as well.

The difference between the two is that ITV is really scrapping for money, where as the shite BBC continue to rape us all of £130+ a year. They know they are going to have money to burn.

The decision to reduce Carol Vordemans money makes financial sense in tough financial times. What a pity Carol Vorderman has lost sense of reality and believes her own hype. I say tough shit to Carol, at £150,000 per annum she is still making a great deal more than millions of other people.
