Old people, you’re not disabled - you’re old!

In light of recent rumblings from the M.E. crowd it has come to my attention there is a demographic you can prevent from having blue badges immediately and thus cut down down on the abuse of the system.

There should be no Blue Disabled Parking Badges for OLD PEOPLE!

Why is it that old people think they have a god (doesn’t exist) given right to park in disabled parking areas?

Let’s break this down - old people are old, NOT disabled!

So as a younger, true disabled person, why is it that I get given the evils and take abuse from old people when I pull into a disabled parking space? If ever there was an ageist bunch of morons, it’s old people.

Now before anyone starts to kick-off and give my the old flannel that old people deserve privileges, then read on.

Genuinely disabled old people should of course get blue parking badges (only if they fall in the blue badge criteria that I have deemed law).

But if you are telling me that all old people who park in disabled parking spaces are disabled, then I am Kylie Minogue and I have great tits! It’s a nonsense - Get this you old freaks, just because you turn 65, it does not mean you need extra space when parking - For the majority of you, your legs still do bloody work!

MrsCrip (able-bodied) cannot believe how arrogant old people are, in fact there have been occasions when the lady of the household has had to restrain from me giving the full-force of my spiteful mouth to an old person who is incorrectly judging me on my age.

FACT - Do you think I want to use a disabled car parking space? Of course I don’t, I use it because I have a frikking wheelchair, I don’t give a stuff if I park close to a shop or not, all I want to do is put together my wheelchair in a safe and secure manner.

FACT - This is why there should be a two-tier system of disabled parking.

Level One Parking
Wider parking bays should only be used by those who require an aid for walking and who require additional space in which to safely get in or out of such an aid or utilise a device that assists walking

Level Two Parking
This should be for everyone who does not require additional space for a walking aid, but who does have a genuine requirement for parking closer to a service

FACT - The next old person who gives me the evils or shakes their head at me in disgust is going to get a volley of verbal abuse that will more than likely lead to them having a heart attack - and do you know what, I don’t give a flying fig. if they are that miserable, they bloody deserve a funeral.

Let’s kick the old buggers out of disabled parking spaces, in fact, let’s banish all old people to Wales and then we can all have a happier life.
