Non Payers of Water Bills - AKA - Scummy Bastards
To all the scummy people who do not pay their bills
One Billion pounds worth of bad debts are written off each year by the water companies.
Apparently, as many as 15% of people do not pay their water bills!
I’m sorry, but if you don’t pay your Gas or Electric bill you are cut-off, so why are the water companies so lenient?
It is about time the law was strengthened on this one. Fair enough, there are those that will genuinely not be able to pay the bill, but for those that are swinging the led, a reduction of water being fed to them should be instigated.
Just think, the extra one billion pounds that is currently being written off could be used to employ scores more engineers to fix the leaking pipes which is the main crux of the water shortage!
Once again, it goes to show the water companies are simply taking the piss out of us.
