Nintendo- What are you doing?

Now, being a Nintendo fan myself I would like to point out this blog is not for one second trying to degrade Nintendo’s name or absolute sheer brilliance. But to put a point across that at the moment they are stupid dicks. So if I get any Nintendo fan arguing this then your either an old person who clearly is not a Nintendo fan but likes to play wii sports everyday or your just stupid. I will ignore your comment and proberly tell you to fall in a hole and die.

Although getting the Wii round about release date and it being 200% better than the shitty gamecube was. It was still and never can be as good as the N64, Snes or Nes until Nintendo stop making games for old people, tiny kids who have no idea how to play a game and stupid adults who think wii sports and mario and sonic at the olympics is great fun and can be played for hours and days on end. For feck sake Nintendo you need to start making more games that the fans want. More Mario, more legend of zelda, more star fox, more pikmin. This is why there are no more wii’s for the fans because you have stupid old people playing wii sports and then complaining that the remote flies out of thier hands or they get a bad back. There is a simple solution to this.

PUT THE FECKING STRAP ON AND DO’NT PLAY A FECKING WII IF YOUR OLD. YOU ARE WASTING EVERYONES FECKING TIME AND PROBERLY SHORTENING YOUR LIFE BY PLAYING IT!

Nintendo have gone so far as to giving away wii remote covers to every wii owner simply because such stupid bas*ards cannot and will not use the wii remote properly.

Yes we have Mario kart and Smash Bro’s on thier way next year. But what after that? More cheesy Nintendo games for the masses?

Do us all a favour Nintendo. Start making the games you are famous for.

Maybe not necessarily rehashes of old titles, why not a few new series which arent aimed at children or wrinkled old farts. Like all those ones promised like Disaster: Day of Crisis or Project HAMMER which we’re heard fuck all about since they were announced. Bah! I want some more Wii games which I can appreciate more than my grandparents or my sisters. And speaking of adult-central Wii games, why is Resi 5 not coming for the Wii? The company that turned Resi into a 21st century game, its leaving us behind! What a fucking surprise eh? Bah. ‘Rant’ over. Peace out, love to you mothers!

Why can’t older or younger people play Wii’s? Its meant to me a family games console.
Yeah i agree bring out games that people will actually want to play, but its a bit harsh to say adults and kids can’t play on a Wii.

You see MrBlack, I am a man of principle, I said after the debacle that was the Gamecube (still a great looking console) that I would not get another Nintendo games console.

What Nintendo should have done is team up with Sony a long time ago.

The shortage of Wii’s is all bullshit; it proves Nintendo are clueless when it comes to servicing their market.

MrCrip, they did team up with Sony to produce a CD attachment for either the SNES or the N64, I forget which, but they backed out of the deal halfway leaving sony with a half finished console which they finished and later renamed a Playstation =]

Team up with sony? Sony have lost the plot. At least Nintendo have the abilty to create a great game that will last the test of time. Sony have lost all thier great games. Crash Bandicoot has gone to all other consoles. The ps3 is just a Blu ray player that happens to play games. At least the 360 is a console that can play dvd’s and the wii a console.

MrBlack - If only you knew the power of the dark side. My PS3 rocks as does the 7.1 sounds that blasts through the amp. I’m more than happy with the PS3, at least I am not paying for Microsoft to fix bugs throughout their flawed product ranges.

The rest of Microsoft’s products have nothing to do with the 360 sales. The sales go to making the new console they will shortly be developing. The PS3 has a very small range of games to offer. The wii and 360 both offer a wide range at a smaller cost and are more enjoyable to play.

Okay guys fanboy-posing aside let’s be honest - all three are fecking idiots.

Microsoft rushed the 360 out to beat Sony, they used shoddy hardware causing overheating problems, they made the hard drive and HD-disc reader optional leaving developers always going for the safe option leaving games like Mass effect with major texture pop-up and looong load times.

Sony have lost the plot. After lambasting Microsoft for it’s Xbox emulation they pull the same stunt in the European release, then release yet another model with no emulation at all. Oh and now we’ve all got a new rumble controller we can get despite telling us that ‘Rumble’s not the point of games’. They don’t know what they’re selling or who to.

Nintendo have painted themselves into a corner with their social, family-fun advertising and persona. They need to produce more and more of these types of games, neglecting the hard-core fan base looking for sequels or updates. The shortage isn’t helping either, especially when it seems confined to the UK and units are readily available on the continent. Oh and my favourite story was that as soon as a delivery of Wii’s are made to a certain store the employees get the first opportunity to buy them, this is then followed by an eBay blitz at inflated cost.

They’re businesses, they don’t care about us just our money and they and the developers will always go for the biggest market-share available.
