New Stars Wars film - The Clone Wars

Awesome, a new Stars Wars film, and about bloody time. For me there can never be enough Star Wars and I’m delighted with the imminent arrival of The Clone Wars.

Star Wars is for me one of most imaginative stories ever told. The mind of George Lucas is nothing short of extraordinary. The way that everything interconnects is beyond belief. The term ‘Chaos Theory’ can easily be applied to Star Wars because you can be sure that something taking place in one part of the Star Wars galaxy will have an effect in another part.

Star Wars - The Clone Wars

For the last few weeks, I have had to put up with the shite that is Mama Mia- what the hell is all this bollocks about? I know lets make a film using songs from a group that disbanded more than 20 years ago.

For women, the Abba phenomenon is unbelievable, personally I am sick of it, so what if the two birds were Swedish, so is Ulrika Johnsson, and look what a slut she is! It’s top marks for George Lucas from me for bringing some order and sense back to the world and giving us lads something decent to watch.

So now instead of listening to the shite soundtrack from a site chick flick movie, I can flood the airwaves of Crip Towers with the sounds of Star Wars.

The new Star Wars movie has been made in distinct way, the trailers look slick, the characters look sharp, and I just hope the movie lives up to the hype that is currently being created.

Stars Wars fans will be aware there is a already a cartoon series featuring The Clone Wars, so if the new film is as good as this mini series than do expect great things.

Personally, I cannot see the logic of not making another full series of Star Wars films featuring the children of Luke, Han Solo and Princess Leia. The books that feature their children are excellent, and to see the evil Jacen Solo at the cinema battling his uncle Luke would make prime time viewing. The other point to this is of course the original actors, aka Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher would be the right age to carry their parts off, for me it has to happen.

Come on George, who would not want to see another Star Wars trilogy? Only the silly tarts watching crap like Mama Mia!

We need more Star Wars!

Much as i usually nod inagreement to the ramblings of Crip, I have to say I reckon yer wrong on this one. Star Wars is a good old film made into a good old trilogy. But it’s all a bit old and has-been.
Now I’m first to admit that I’ve not seen the whole of the 3 new chapters but I feel the whole Star Wars thing had it’s day back when I was a nipper.
And I like my SciFi, I even liked the cheapo made stuff like Lexx.
But Lexx had a bit of tit in it and even a bit of muff. To the best of my recollection all Star Wars managed was a skimpy bird chained to a big fat slug. That’s not erotic, that’s grim.

Star Wars and SciFi shows are about fantasy, and any fantasy needs birds with their tits out. Give me 2 Lesbians, an alien with tentacles, a couple of Stormtrooper outfits and a lightsabre and I’ll give you a scifi show with a purpose. Throw in a wookie and it’ll even appeal to the dutch.
‘feel the force…skin inside you’

No no no no

I’m a fan of proper Star Wars (episodes 4,5,6 anyway) - but this is just Lucas trying to wring more cash out of fans with this bloody cartoon animated nonsense.

So many people say that they’re fans of the original “starwars” but that just confuses me, yes they are good films but they are the ending of an incomplete story. Watch the new 3 again then continue and watch the old ones, personally i don’t like episode 1 but the rest are brilliant so what’s to say the new one won’t be, not sure about the animated side but i’ll judge it once i’ve seen it.

MrBlack - I thought you were dead!

I agree - Star Wars is where it’s at - Legacy of the Force looks like some of my ex-girlfriends - AWESOME, where as the current MrsCrip is a bit Star Trek.

There should be a national day of celebration for Star Wars each year.
