MrCrip - To swear or not to swear? - that is the question
Attention all readers of MrCrip, I have a 50/50 split on whether swearing should continue on MrCrip. I have been debating with those that know me as to how to take the blog to another level.
There are arguments for the ‘FOR’ and ‘AGAINST’
The ‘FOR’ argument
- Swearing can increase the humour of blogs
- Everyone swears, so what?
- I get to slate more people and say what I really think
- Swearing adds emphasis to a point
The ‘AGAINST’ argument
- As one comment said, it makes me sound like a CHAV, CHAVS need to be hunted down, they are the very thing that I am fighting to cleanse from UK Society!
- Sweaing ruins the purposeful points that I often make. The same points can be made without swearing
- Swearing turns part of the audience off from reading the blog
- MrCrip will never get taken seriously with all the swearing, and lets be honest, I do hit the nail on the head time after time. If MrCrip is t move into politics, who is going to take me seriously if I act like a bin-head?
So here’s what I am going to do -
As of now all new posts on MrCrip are going to remain swearing free. All completely offensive posts that go out of their way to annoy the life out of people will appear on DoubleHardBastard.co.uk

Sounds like a good compromise. Now all the eggheads can get an intelligent, thought provoking topic of conversation from the old Cripster and all the binheads can go to Doublehard to get their laughs.
