MP’s listen to MrCrip
Look out all you ME sufferers, MP’s are agreeing with me.
Disabled badges are being given out too easily. According to official figures some three million blue badges will be in use by 2012.
We all know there is mass abuse of the blue badge scheme, and quite simply it has to stop. I created a hell of a stir when I dared say which types of disability should be entitled to a blue parking badge. Read the old post on blue badges for yourself.
The fact of the matter is there is too much abuse and too many people have disabled badges when they shouldn’t have.
There needs to be some serious policing of the scheme. Stuff your GP giving you the nod, what the government needs is someone who is affected by a disability. Someone right-wing would be better so we can be really anal about who gets a disabled badge. In fact someone like me really fits the bill.
Then at least we can kick out the twats who really do abuse this scheme.
