Mercedes drivers are killers
Are Mercedes drivers killers? Is this too general, or is there truth to the statement? I ask because I was looking at a Mercedes with a fellow cripple who is thinking of getting one on the Motability scheme.
I joked that Mercedes owners were all twats and killers and that sent him off the rails. Hang on, talk about not taking a joke.
So when I returned to Crip Towers I checked the bible that is Google for some answers, are all Mercedes drivers killers?
Here are just some of the snippets about Mercedes cars and their drivers that I found.
- A possibly intoxicated female driver of a black Mercedes Benz hit Cleaves’ car head on killing Laura Cleaves
- Suddenly a gold Mercedes jumped the curb and struck both children on the sidewalk. The car was driven by a 45-year old nanny whose license had been taken away for drunk driving. Alana died quickly; Troy, her only brother, died later at the hospital
- Years later he was involved in a fatal car accident reportedly caused by Sheikhan’s speeding Mercedes
And look at the most famous death in the world that happened in a Mercedes - The death of Princess Diana (Murdered)
So was my fellow cripple right to get the raging arsehole, or am I right, are Mercedes drivers the biggest killers on the road per capita? Come on we all know Mercedes drivers can be a bit arrogant on occasions, and rightly so. Mercedes drivers are typically successful executives and business owners, they have a right to be arrogant, they have deserved it after working hard to suppress others on their way to the top.
So that does it, the next time my car is up on Motability I am going to check out the latest Mercedes car leasing offers.
So to anybody who is thinking of buying or leasing a Mercedes, hang on, are you sure you want to become a killer?

Strange you should do a post like that. A few months ago in our town a Merc was being driven at speed along the main road through town, when she lost control and it mounted the pavement and killed an old lady who was waiting at the bus stop.
The case came up in court recently and it turned out that she was driving with one hand on the wheel and in the the other hand.. you guessed it, was a mobile phone!
I can’t remember the details of the court case (mainly because I wasn’t really interested), only that I thought the sentence was much to lenient. A fine I think, but then she is the wife of a prominent local GP who is probably in the same masonic lodge as the magistrate, or probably in the same local Rotary Club. Say no more!
