Life Insurance for Paraplegics; The Disabled are discrimated against by Life Insurance Companies

Why can’t a spinally injured Paraplegic get?Life Insurance cover?

OK, so after you break your back and you spent a few months in hospital you want to get back to work and get on with your life - but now you are facing trouble in as much as you are now a scourge - a detriment to society, a sponger!

You cannot walk - your bloody useless and do you know what because you cannot walk, society is going to penalise you for it and make you feel like a c*nt!

Life’s a bitch so they say - Well not for the many companies that take the piss with their over-inflated prices simply because their product or service is for a member of the disabled community.

Personally I don’t see myself as disabled - why? Well I can shag, piss and shit like anyone else - the only difference is I can’t stand up at weddings and funerals - but then who gives a shit about that sort of bollocks anyway?

“Oh my god, I’m in a wheelchair, I’m paraplegic, even worse I’m a quadreplegic, oh no I’m fucked - woe is me!”

According to the majority, I am a poor little disabled person. ‘You need help sonny’, ‘you need our council housing’,?’you?never need to work again’.?Well let me announce to the able-bodied do gooders, that’s bullshit!

What most disabled people want and need is equality and we are far from getting?that. (I say ‘most’ as there are a few idiot cripples out there) I cannot get Life Insurance as I am seen as too much of a risk - Personally I think that’s also bullshit - I sent an email to the Spinal Injuries Association - They were a complete crock of shit - those?idiots did not even bother responding to my email - what an useless bunch of spanners they are! Now my IFA knows his onions, but could he find anyone that would offer me life insurance? No, I have got more chance of being buggered seneseless by Nicole Kidman!

I cannot get Life Insurance as I am seen as too much of a risk - Personally I think that’s also bullshit - OK, so I sit down, but that does not mean that I am unhealthy, in fact I would say that I am healthier than a great number of ‘Able-Bodied’ people - I don’t smoke, I rarely drink and I don’t take drugs - Yet, because I am in a wheelchair I am stigmatised and I think its complete bollocks.

Hey get this you morons - I have a voice, it’s on MrCrip.com and if you piss me off - you are going to get it big time. I want to know why the major insurance companies discriminate against me? Of course, we already know why, I’m seen as a?risk to their profits and that would never do!

This is another factor of profit-led corporate greed - Look I am not stupid,?I realise that I am a greater risk than most - but hey, here’s an interesting point - I am prepared to pay extra to gain Life Insurance cover - Is that not the game of insurance companies? The bigger the risk the bigger the premium?

I thought I would have a look at the ‘No#1′ site for disabled people - YourAble.com - Well in my honest opinion, this site contains the same mandatory information that can be sought from anywhere. There is no real information about what insurance companies will talk to disabled people, so in my opinion YourAble.com should be renamed WereUnable.com.

I best not slag off that site too much as I will go too much off the path, I’ll save?that rant?for another time.

Back to Life Insurance - OK have you got it yet, I want an insurance company to be able to quote me for life insurance for this paraplegic and any other paraplegic. Surely there must be one company out there who is prepared to cover my arse?
