Kate Garraway Close to Death
It appears as though Bubbly GMTV girl Kate Garraway could have collapsed and died after Doctors failed to recognise the fact that her thyroid went all to cock following the birth of her first child.
Now I don’t want to appear to cynical about this, but surely the private physician that Kate can obviously afford should have picked up on this?
According to BUPA, 1 in 50 women develop this each year. Hyperthyroidism (the medical term) means you thyroid gland is knackered, it makes the body’s functions speed-up and causes symptons such as restlessness, anxiety and weight-loss.
I have to say that is pretty much how I feel after watching 5 minutes of the gut-wrenching crap they churn out on GMTV each morning.
The fact that Thyroiditis is associated with pregnancy proves this much - Kate Garraway’s doctor was as thick as shit or simply this was sensationlist crap released by Kate Garraway’s publicist.
Whatever the case there are thousands of women who suffer from thyroid problems ; but because it’s Kate Garraway, were supposed to give a shit.
Well in fairness, I do give a shit - because when I am reading the Sunday papers I want to know what is going on in the world - not what is happening to some overpaid TV presenter who smoked through her pregnancy.
Kate I’m glad you survived this medical scare as you will give endless writing material - what a role model you are!
