woahh racist MrCrip. I do strongly agree with you, having just this second put the story down I am shocked myself. Being a christian (not a strong one, but nevertheless a christian) there is no way i would put faith before children.

At least the muslims dont come knocking on our door’s asking us to join thier faith! Mind you if they did and they were carrying a bag we might all be a bit scared!!

Children should be the important thing in a persons life, if she isn’t gunna do anything for her children then she shouldn’t have had them in the first place.

I disagree with the notion that it is time to ‘ban religion’. The fact is, though i’m not really religious myself, religion give people hope in the world when they have nothing else to turn to. And by bannning religion, aren’t you just as bad as the faiths you wish to remove - by robbing people of the right to believe what they want to believe?

What I do agree with, however, is when this belief interferes with and puts other human lives at risk, such as in your case study. However, isolated incidents like this do not mean that all members of a particular church act in this way. Its a simple case of stereotyping, like saying that all muslims are suicide bombers, or that all christians are evolution-bashing free speech nazis who ride around in pick-up trucks yee-hawing their way through life. Neither of which are true. Banning religion will do nothing. In previous cases where religion has been ‘banned’ it has still been practiced in secret - as an example, look at Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia, where christianity was secretly practiced all through their respective regimes.

What about the basic freedom of religious belief provided by common law (which is based heavily on the teachings of the Bible) even if some people misunderstand the teachings of the Bible or other sacred writings. Jesus Christ was considered to be a freak and his enemies got him killed. Some today still think that he is a freak and use his name as a swear word but he is still considered to be the Son of God by billions of followers.

What do you prefer - people with a few ‘errors’ attempting make the world better or people with a few ‘truths’ attempting to destroy it?

My very close friends parents are geting divorced because of this fucked up jehova witness shit. His mother DIRECTLY told him that she won’t give her blood to him even if that was the last chance to save his life!!! What kind of a shit belief is this? Not celebrating birthdays? When people give you presents rejecting them? I really think every single jehovas witness has serious mentall problems and should be seen as ill people by the community. If they ever knock my door, I’m going to invite them, and beat the shit out of them, for what they’ve done to my friend’s family.
