Government abuses disabled people’s prosperity
It turns out there are some clever disabled people other than myself. May I congratulate the syndicate who were were using the disabled status to buy top cars at reduced cost through disabled people not having to pay VAT. See the full story on disabled car fraud on the BBC
The syndicate had ordered 60 cars each over the last two years and were selling them on at near book value.
Now I think this was an absolute touch of genius, but as ever the suppressing able-bodied government have arressted all of those connected with the sale of the cars. What ever happened to free enterprise?
So once again the government are stopping disabled people earning a good living; these people found a loophole and flouted it, so what? Don’t MP’s do this every day of the year, they have more loopholes than anyone. After all, MP’s are allowed to smoke in the House of Commons bars, of course the rest of us could get a fine or arressted if we dare light a cigarette in a public place.
GOVERNMENT = HYPOCRISY
GORDON BROWN = STUPID SCOTTISH TURD
DISABLED PEOPLE = SUPPRESSED
Perhaps if the government actually got off their backsides and made it easier for disabled people to get jobs, then our clever car entrepreneurs would not have had to take this action in order to find money in order to live.
FACT: The government suppresses disabled people
FACT: The government could not give two hoots about disabled people.
The government is content to let disabled people rot on insufficient benefits when they should be encouraging the disabled community to attack the job market. The trouble is the government rhetoric upon employment for disabled people is not backed up by hard legislation, again any anti-discrimination legislation is filled with loopholes, that would appear to be an extremely good trait of those in authority.
The crew that were buying the cars and selling them on have done nothing wrong!
Perhaps Gordon Brown and his flimsy government would like to take these disabled people on in some capacity, otherwise they are going to return to a benefits system of nothing.

Agree with you entirely. As a father of a disabled Daughter I see the government nail her at every corner. Not one group of people in this country could stand up and say they face more discrimination than the disabled.
We recently approached a couple of charities to get some advice on buying a decent, useable wheelchair. However, as government agencies are pushing all of there responsibilities onto these charities there is no chance of a consultation for 6 months.
Buying a voice synthesiser from the US, HMCE tells me there will be VAT on the import!! This is to help her communicate……
Good luck to them and I hope they do it plenty more times before the loophole is closed
