Eddie Stobart Planet Killer!

If you haven’t ever seen an Eddie Stobart truck you are one of two things:

  1. Blind
  2. Dead

The Eddie Stobart business epitomises the working mans struggle to beat the corporate world, and boy did Eddie Stobart Ltd achieve this. The question whilst the Eddie Stobart empire was being built, what cost was there to the planet?

I’m all for private enterprise, but not at the expense of the planet. Take moi for example, here I am blogging away picking on a successful businessman, well how do I power the computer? Well let me tell you, it is not through the national grid, no no no, me? I have three Philippine’s working hard on a treadmill to create the electricity for my home.

What with the rising cost in Gas and Electric helping to house illegal immigrants?seemed the sensible thing to do.

Eddie Stobart Back to Eddie Stobart Ltd, has this company has been responsible for a huge carbon footprint? All of those Eddie Stobart trucks going up and down the motorways day in and day out have not done global warning any good at all.

And as Eddie Stobart Ltd was Britain’s largest independent road haulage company, it is only fair the organisation?accept some of the blame!

Next time you are on one of Britain’s roads remember the carbon footprint that Eddie has given us and don’t wave; after all Eddie Stobart is partly responsible for global warming. In fact the Eddie Stobart business is so aware of this they are now taking freight up to Tesco in Scotland by train.

Eddie Stobart Rail HaulageIt is said this rail link over a three year contract,?will replace 130,000 lorry journeys and save three million road miles a year; which is?the equivalant of 400,000 tonnes of harmful waste a year. The question is, why could Eddie Stobart not have done this before?

Ask yourself the question, is Eddie Stobart a planet killer, or just a business caught-up in the government spin bollocks?that is global warming!

Or is it that white van man is the real villain in all of this? Should car leasing and van leasing businesses be forced into leasing trains instead so we can reduce the number of commercial vehicles on our roads?

You can find more information on Eddie Stobart in the Wikipedia; of course you can visit the official Eddie Stobart corporate site.
