Club Direct vs Travel Insurance Direct

In my continued comparison of Travel Insurance companies, I have chosen to compare Club Direct and Travel Insurance Direct.

Both Travel Insurance sites are in the top 20 of Google for the term ‘Travel Insurance’.

Test 1 - Single Trip for 2 Adults to Europe

Club Direct - £24.77
Travel Insurance Direct - £32.00

Test 2 - Single Trip for 1 Adult and 2 Children to Europe

Club Direct - £27.55
Travel Insurance Direct - £16.00

Test 3 - Single Person Annual 60 Day Multi Trip to Europe

Club Direct - £56.95
Travel Insurance Direct - £52.00

Test 4 - Family of 5 Travelling to Europe for 14 days

Club Direct - £33.11
Travel Insurance Direct - £32.00

Except for one of the four policies tested Travel Insurance Direct came out on top; of course price is not everything and the policy of any Travel Insurance policy should be scrutinised pror to accepting and indeed proceeding with cover for a trip.
