BBC Corruption, it’s time to shut down the BBC
In the days when there was only four TV channels to choose from, the BBC was like a tried and trusted friend.
30 years ago, I knew I would see some cartoons and the odd children’s programme, at that time the BBC had foundation, it had soul. As a kid you’d wake up and spend Saturday mornings with Noel Edmonds, Keith Chegwin and Maggie Philbin; things were fun and on the level. You also knew on a Sunday there would be stacks of dull religious programmes TV was not the god that it is to so many today.
But when you rang 01 811 8055 to speak to Noel Edmonds, you knew you were not going to get ripped off! - If only that were the case in 2007!
Move forward 30 years and I struggle to think what the BBC is all about? This in the wake of the organisation being rumbled for fixing telephone competitions that make the organisation hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Now the BBC stands for - Biased Bullshit Corruption
Now the BBC is an ogre; we all have to put our hands in our pockets and fund this ‘State Broadcaster’. Funny, because I cannot remember too much public service broadcasting happening. The BBC has TV channels and Radio Stations all over the place and WE HAVE TO PAY FOR IT.
I’m sick to death of paying for a TV Licence, it is unnecessary, why the hell should I have to fund the rubbish that is aired by the BBC and fund the lifestyles of the extravagant BBC presenters such as Jonathan Ross who earns a fortune through the likes of you and me being taxed!
The views of the BBC are politically biased; the BBC is now run by the liberal PC brigade and it is so blatantly evident. The sanitised rubbish that is broadcast by the BBC beggars belief.
And can anyone tell me why we need BBC3 and BBC4 and BBC Parliament?
The BBC is above the law; many of it’s commercial rivals have stricter remits and tighter budgets, yet they have to survive without public money
The only decent worthwhile BBC channel available is CBeebies, and that speaks volumes about the decline in the organisation; the rest of the channels on the BBC are an absolute garbage.
So whilst we have to fund the BBC, the likes of Radio One DJ Edith Bowman get to party on our cash at events such as Glastonbury. Allegedly Miss Bowman likes to inhale as much atmosphere as she can, well what a great use of cash that is!
Sell the BBC’s best programmes to its commercial rivals, and let it survive with one channel broadcasting public service information like its original remit. Seriously, if the BBC were a horse it would have been shot by now!
