Are Nutritional Supplements Worth It?

It’s a simple question, but is there any real purpose of taking a nutritional supplement? Do they really work? Or are nutritional supplements nothing more than big con?

I know what I think, and I’m going to share my thoughts with you -

Nutritional supplements are an absolute waste of time.

Here’s the thing, if you eat properly and exercise properly there should be no need to take a nutritional supplement of any kind.

Out of interest I thought I would punch in ‘Nutritional Supplements’ to see what kind of information came back. Surprise surprise a site selling the blessed things was sitting at #1. Surprise surprise #2, the site was littered with Google Adsense (A bit like this one).

Grrr, I wanted information on nutritional supplements, I wanted hard-core evidence that taking nutritional supplements would do me a favour, that taking nutritional supplements would enhance my life, the #1 site had nothing thatt informed me of the benefits, it was all buy, buy, buy. This further compounds my theory that nutritional supplements are a waste of time.

Did you know that 20 million people in Britain take nutritional supplements each year, apparently one-third of all British women and one quarter of all British men take supplements and vitamins.

The health supplement industry is worth 300 million pounds annually. That is a staggering amount of people taking this rubbish.

But ask yourself the question, do one third of the population have less health problems? No, of course they don’t, and I guarantee you that in Doctor’s surgeries up and down the country many of the visitors-who are  moaning their absolute cock’s off about a twinge in the rectum will be the type of twat that believes spending a fortune on nutritional supplements is a good thing.

Why do people buy into this bullshit? Nutritional supplements are never going to cure an individuals ills, in fact all they will do is make your pocket feel a lot lighter. So if you are a twat who regularly takes health supplements, try something new, try eating and drinking properly and stop wasting your hard-earned cash.

There’s nothing wrong with nutritional supplements, I’ve been taking them for years. Sometimes I even go without food for days and live just on nutritional supplements.

Since I’ve been on them my sex-life as gone downhill and I’ve put weight on, but I suffer with headaches and double vision if I leave the them off for more that 24hrs.

You should try them. I personally take 2 pints of “Pedigree”, 2 pints of “Guinness” and a few shots of “Captain Morgan” with a sprig of peppermint in it of course just so that I get a good balance of vitamins.
