Alcoholic teenage girls - Blame the parents!

Alcoholic teenage girls can be traced back to one source - The parents.

After reading some insightful real-life information on the BBC News site, (There’s a first, the BBC insightful!) it is no wonder there are so many teenage girls turning to alcohol when their parents are nothing more then walking advertisements for the major drinks producers.

There are tales of two teenage girls who have struggled with alcohol addiction.

Paris Hayes a 17 year old from Hull started drinking at the age of 14 because her mother was drinking to excess. This is the problem, it is not so much that kids are bad, it is the fact there are too many bad parents who are so self-indulgent and pay no attention to their off-spring.

How sad is it that any child of 14 should be compelled to follow a path to alcohol because a loser parent lacks self-control!

Teenage alcoholics, blame tthe parents Yes, the majority of us like a drink, but the keyword is moderation. If you drink in front of children it is only natural they will follow suit. If a parent drinks to excess in front of children it is only natural they are going to follow suit and drink to excess themselves. It is not rocket science!

Now Paris is full of regret because between the ages of 14-17 she drank and drank and drank and ruined her education, nice one Mum!

The second story highlights the plight of a 13 year old from Coventry; this story is probably worse, simply because the girls parents are so stupid they cannot seem to control their daughter. Why any 13 year old is out getting mashed, I don’t know, it beggars belief, but sadly there is too much of this going on.

Shannon Frame from Coventry has highlighted the fact she hangs outside shops and asks adults to buy her drink, which by all accounts many do. Shannon also states that many of her friends parents allow them to drink excessive alcohol whilst in their company.

This is what I cannot understand, if some 13 year old little slut asked me to buy alcohol for her I would tell her to go home and play with her Barbie dolls. Shannon Frame’s parents need to be taken to task with this issue, they should be made accountable for their daughters whereabouts.

Mr and Mrs Frame will no doubt say they have tried everything to get little Shannon to do the right thing, well I doubt that very much.

Shannon Frames - Teenage AlcoholicThe likes of Shannon are not to blame for her drinking habit, it is society that is letting children down. There are too many shameful parents who have no real inclination or determination to bring a child up the right way.

?

Unfortunately I cannot see the situation changing as the underclass in the UK is building in strength and that can only mean further illiterate, irresponsible men and women breeding further teenage alcoholic delinquents.
