Andrea McLean is one of GMTV's weather presenters.

Andrea McLean joined GMTV in June 1997 and has built a legion of male followers ever since. Born in Glasgow on October 5th 1969, Andrea spent her childhood in Trinidad and Tobago and returned to the UK when she was l5 (just in time to delight the boys at her new school.)

Andrea McLean is quite a clever bint and studied for her BA Hons in Modern Studies (whatever that is?) at Coventry and later gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Periodical Journalism. As I said clever bint!

Andrea McLean started her career as a freelance journalist before joining Central Press Features in the Spring of 1994, where she was promoted to Production Editor in 1995. In June 1996, Andrea joined The Weather Channel, where she received daily updates from the Met Office and presented regular weather reports. During the same time, Andrea was also working as a weather reporter for Talk Radio (now Talk Sport).

The following year she worked on Channel 5's daily talk show 'Espresso' as one of the programme's panelists. As well as her daily weather reports, Andrea had presented numerous features for GMTV, including a three-part series for a six-week travel feature 'Here Comes The Sun', `The GMTV Café`, child car-safety campaign 'Clunk Click Every Kid', travel series 'Great Escapes' to Spain and South Africa and the search for 'Britain's Best Mum'.

Andrea McLean has also presented GMTV's summer 2003 strand 'GMTV's Interactive Wedding'. Andrea has also worked as a reporter for Carlton Food Network and for Challenge TV. So all in all she has been a very busy girl.

In May 2003 Andrea co-presented the world's biggest ever real-time test of telepathy, the 'National ESP Challenge Live', with Dr David Bull, for Living TV. (I think the name bull sums that non-event up!)

In September 2003 she co-hosted 'Loose Lips' (I bet they are a bit loose now) on Living TV for two weeks standing in for Melinda Messenger and has also presented 'Our House' for UK Style.

Andrea is now seen regulally presenting the weather on GMTV and has a legion of followers due to her pretty looks, fit body and sometimes figure hugging clothing. Andrea simply is one of the top TV Weather Babes, let's face it, who wouldn't mind being woken up by young Andrea each morning? Given half a sniff, I wouldn't say no.
