I was very excited about this as I hate using the loo's at festivals, it takes alot of practise so try it loads before you get to a festival as it's the last place you want to be wearing jeans drenched in urine for 4 days.
I found you have to push it so far into yourself it's quite uncomfortable, if you don't you pee all down yourself which is slightly embarrassing when walking back past people queuing.It is difficult with jeans on, I gave up, but it was good in my tent,peeing into a large shandy bottle- saves stumbling across fields in the night to the loos.
Don't even think about trying to use it if you are drunk though- I did and I may as well have used nothing, I'm 42 and it made me feel like a 3 year old again!

First saw shewee on Dragon's Den and was intrigued and bought one for travelling through Asia where squat toilets are the norm. I did practice at first at home over the toilet and once I stopped laughing at peeing standing up, found it very helpful.
I have bad knees, so this was a god send in squat toilet countries, and since having had a knee op, I used it both in hospital and during rehab at home.
To the other reviewers who said it was 'rubbish', they should make sure that the SHEWEE is in fact the right way around before they use it, never caused me to leak everywhere. I used to have to use this and put it in a plastic food bag, but you can now buy containers for them from the official website.
Whole heartedly recommend.

not the easiest thing to use with trousers on....but it does work afer a bit of practice. You do need to press it firmly on to your body or you could get a leak... Pushing your hips forward and leaning forward also helps...once you have figured that out then it is definitely worth having. Definitely worth keeping in the car or athe bottom of your bag. I may get the extender as that may make it easier. I like travelling and have been in some awful loos and it doesn't bother me now. It is also very useful for avoiding the nettles and when there is not much cover.

I feel really disappointed with this. So I felt compelled to tell you not to waste your money. I bought the shewee with an extension pipe. When it arrived I was shocked at how small the device on it's own is. If you look at the picture you can see the spout part is only slightly longer than the half of the index finger that shows. By the time the thing is between your legs, the spout at the front barely clears your thighs. After being given a lesson by a man that I had to push my hips forward I tried it out.
The next big disappointment is that the bit that receives the pee is really really narrow, unnecessarily so. At first it seemed to be working, then there was leakage all over my hand and down my legs. Unpleasant and disappointing. This would be a really good idea if they'd made the item a bit more suitable for a woman's shape like the last review said. The other major flaw: yes you can possibly pee standing up without taking your trousers down (assuming you dont mind your trousers and hand being covered in urine) but after that - how are you going to wipe?!!

It was ok the first time I used it . The scond time I had a drip down ny inner thighs which when I pulled my thong up left me soaked. Not very good really however I will persevere only because my husband likes it.Thats why I gave it a 3
