I bought the player a couple of weeks ago. I used it two times. The the player went dead. It does switch on, if I connect it to the USB does not seem to recharge. The computer does not see it (tried MAC and PC). I have written to Lavod to know if there is a way to reset (apart from pressing the reset button) and they have not bothered answering. So I have now contacted them again and put in CC the seller pjbox.co.uk. If I do not get an answer in a matter of a couple of days I will send it back.

I bourght this after reading the other reviews. Trust me-it's good.
Your swimming and you don't even know it! At 40, it's nearly one of the cheapest out there. I'm a type of swimmer who gets bored after 35 minutes, not today; I swam for an hour without even realising it!!
Earphones are good, but you've got to try and find the bud that fits your ear. They supply 3 so it's a matter of seeing which one fits better.

well what can i say. i was buzzed to see a cool looking waterproof mp3. but the headphones let it down badly. i got ones differnt to the pictures, even differnt to the pictures on the box. and although they ARE in-ear phones they also have really annoying and uncomfortable ear pieces that supposedly sit around each ear. mine don't and fall off every stroke.
so not really happy. seller has not replied to my query about differing headphones.

After reading the reviews on here I went ahead and bought this product and have used it for the first time this morning. My normally boring swim of about half an hour turned into an non boring swim of over an hour. When you're swimming and listening to music, you just don't notice time so much. I used the armband this morning, but tomorrow I shall try and slip in under my goggles and see if that works. The armband is ok though and works well. I tried it whilst doing breast stroke and crawl and there was no impedance at all.
Also compared to the prices of other waterproof MP3's it's a real bargain. The only down side I have found (and it is a minor one) is that there is no shuffle facility on the player. It plays all tracks in order and always starts from the same song. You can forward tracks though so as long as you're at your desired start point when you start swimming you'll be fine. Like I said, a minor point and if anyone knows different I'll stand corrected.
That said, don't let that put you off. If your swimming has become boring, this gem of a product will liven it up no end.
