Got this free when i bought a mac, and i still hate it!! All the software instals really fast and sets up easily, but getting a picture is the hard part. Even in a well covered area the small antenna picks up hardly any channels, only 4 i got. If you're buying because it picks up freeview channels, don't get your hopes up, it struggles to get a picture you can only just make out for bbc 1, bbc 2, itv and five, freeview channels are hopeless. Invest in a mini tv or something, this product is not the way to go!!! If you plug it into your main house arial i'm sure it'll be great, but not with the small antenna provided!!!

I bought this stick and was very sceptical about getting any digital reception, as I've no external ariel access in my bedroom. I I've tried other digital sticks before, but the lack of signal has let me down more than anything. Recently, I got a new PC with Vista (32 bit) and my old Pinnacle PCTV no longer worked, as I couldn't find a Vista driver. So I bought this, then realised it doesn't say it's Vista compatible - well, let me assure you it is. I never installed the software, however downloaded the latest driver - it also asks for the disc. I use it with Windows Media Centre and it picks up loads of channels. Windows Media Centre has lots of timer options, which I use regularly. The ariel I use was a tenner from Tesco and has a mains booster built in, which you can adjust the booster gain strength - I always have the booster strength turned right up.

Easy to install. Used house ariel as in a very poor reception area (need satalite to whatch any tv.) Delighted when it recieved not only the analogue chanels but also digital free veiw chanels. We are NOT in a free veiw area.

I have just bought this to use on my new laptop. It comes with a small ariel that I got about 35 digital and 4 anologue stations on. This worked straight out of the box in Vista Media Center but I had to install WinTV to get the remote to work. With my roof ariel I get all 5 anologue stations and about 69 digital TV and radio stations.
The system that it runs on uses Intel T7300, 2Gig of RAM, 2x 160Gb of HD space and GeForce 8400M Graphics card with Vista Home Premium.
Works very well but don't scrimp on the ariel.

This didn't work for me, so I returned it. Not that that should put you off buying it, just make sure you look into it properly first and make sure its the right product for you.
First, make sure you check that freeview is available in your area. I didn't, assuming it would be, and was told that this area wouldn't be getting freeview until 2012 so...bummer.
Also the small arial supplied didn't even pick up the analogue channels. I got BBC1 but the quality was EXTREMELY low, not even watchable. I tried putting it on a CD as some people have suggested and I got BBC2, but even worse quality that BBC1, and the quality of BBC1 didn't improve.
Would probably work best if its connected to an external antenna, and then it'd be a great product.
I liked the layout of everything, it was relatively easy to set up and the instructions were clear. Would have been perfect for me, if I could pick up any channels.
