You get exactly what you pay for here, the radio is good and you don't need the headphones to listen to it like so many others like this.
The video quality on this product is outstanding for the price of it, and with 8GB of memory you can fit a fair amount on there.
the one downfall with this product though is the way that they have set out the music side of it. its not very practical choosing a certain song if you have a lot of them on there. and the shuffle feature is not perfect, sometimes not even shuffling a small group of songs at all.
But overall not a bad product at all, and if you going to use it for the same purpose as I am (just watching videos on it) then its a great buy for the price of it. Even has a card expansion slot so you can fit even more on there if you need to.
Overall 4 out of 5 stars because of the not so great music practicality.

I was in the market for a new player after my iPod mini gloriously died on me after 2 and half years use and I was told by apple it would never work again.
After considering buying an iPod touch for some time I then found this gem of an MP3 player and I haven't looked back.
For the same money I can buy an I pod shuffle or this baby. With 8GB memory it stores all the tracks I ever need plus pictures and movies. The screen is large enough to enjoy films without squinting and the quality is amazing, the sound quality is good and it has a touch screen!
This has been said to be a poor man's iPod touch and I guess it is, but since I can buy THREE of these for one iPod touch I'm sticking to the ICE 1000.
Good points - Huge memory even with movies and TV, Brilliant Touch Screen, Good Battery Life, Good Sound Quality and Cheap.
Bad Points - Music library could be better organised and the external speaker is really quiet (but at least has one) Also, the games included are totally pointless, unworkable and a waste of space. Delete them.
If you're buying a new MP3 player and can't afford the best, then buy this plus two more for your family.

The touch screen is insensitive and unresponsive. Appears to emulate buttons - so no 'dragging sliders' for volume control, video position etc. Music & video searching works - but only just. Bundled games are almost unplayable. Computer failed to detect device until I replaced the supplied usb cable with a better one, and even then will not detect properly on 1 out 3 connections. FM reception very poor, could barely find two uk stations on auto search. Claims support for XviD, AVI, MP4, but only after conversion on a PC using the bundled software - even some of my XviD avi files needed conversion before they would play. No album covers support for music, just folder / name listing - thus, the TFT panel display would appear to be wasted. Sound quality was fair, so hence the one star rating. No utilities such as calendar / alarm / calculator etc.
