Great ink and "better" value December 26, 2008 Martin Smith (UK) Epson ink is very good - of that there is no doubt - and these packs are much better value than the individual cartridges, but one has to say they are still pricey for the volume of ink they actually contain. I have tried other replacement cartridges from different manufacturers and the truth of the matter is that they look fine initially, but the colours simply don't stand the test of time - especially if direct sunlight falls upon the print for a while. In photographs this just simply defeats the object of making a print. Buy with confidence... and a deep pocket...
The best , but expensive December 9, 2008 Bluebell (UK) I have been seduced by the low-prices of generic and re-charged ink-jet cartridges and have found them to be poor in performance: soon drying out and in the end being a false economy. Although the price of the manufacturer's cartridges always seems exorbitant, in relation to the cost of the machine, there is no doubt they are better and give excellent printing results. I use these particular cartridges in an Epson Stylus Photo RX620 machine and have to say I get perfect colour copies when using Epson cartridges.
TO487 Outer packaging July 5, 2008 F. M. Wilkinson (West Sussex) 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
In Sep'07 I bought a multi pack thro' Amazon which was supplied by seller ext360. These were supplied in a jiffy bag with no outer packaging. Subequently two cartridges would not be accepted by my printer and appeared to be slightly different in appearance from the empty cartridges. As I was outside the 90 day warranty period neither Amazon or Epson were interested in my problem. My advice to anyone not receiving the correct TO487 packaging is to reject the order & inform Amazon immediately.
been using these epson inks since 2005 for my epson R300 printer and they are the best !! May 28, 2008 kerrygold71 (cheshire , united kingdom.) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
like it says above i have been buying these printer inks for years now and they are great value and simply excellent !! nothing bad to say about them .. apart from shop around here on amazon and you could probauly find them even cheaper , or go to your local shop in your town or city and pay double the price .. these are great value , thankyou epson and thankyou amazon for selling them at such a cheap and great price ..
Good but expensive April 30, 2008 Andrew P. Watson (Manchester, UK) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I've always used genuine Epson inks as I know other people who don't and invariably their printers stop working after a while. The only issue I have is that the inks seem to run out quite quickly, well after a lot less prints than the advertised expectancy. This may be because I don't print that much or that often so they dry up. This is what another reviewer suggests and I tend to agree.
