Bought this tv in sales from Argos ( 699 and 3 years warrenty!!!) its gone up to 999. What an amazing tv. great picture and the sound is fine. the sound by default is standard however it has a st surround sound mode and thats makes it sound great. good tv would recomend.

This TV is one of the best out there but what stops it getting a 5 star is its poor sound quality. It seems that Samsung has put all their energy into the picture and forgotten about the sound, the sound seems to be from a very cheep 70's TV, I have spent quite a long time tweaking the sound equaliser, still poor sound (gave up). The picture is WOW!! And plays DVD even through a cheep DVD player at very good quality, The HD is the best I've seen, even without HD connections the picture is tops, so to sum up:
Picture 5 stars.
Sound 3 stars.
