we bought this after seeing one in our room during a hotel break.
and we are extremely happy with the one we bought. The picture quality is superb, instalation straightforward, so much so i just bought the 37inch equivalent( helped by the fact that there were bargain offers on the marketplace this week)
any negatives? well it was troublesome getting hold of some technical details( e.g can you wall mount and how wide is it? as they are sparse on the Amazon site) However go to the Currys online shop and you can download 4-5 pages!! of details.
By the way, you can wall mount and the correct bracket is the PLB103S: which was 80 cheaper than the accessory offered by Amazon, and very robust.

This is a very good TV for the price. The picture quality is excellent and the sound (which others have complained about) is so much better than my old CRT I won't complain, however I haven't tried it with surround sound to compare. Linked my laptop to it with very good results. The only reason I haven't given it a 5 is the number of options for changing the settings for sound, picture etc is bewildering at first, and will take a lot of time and experimentation to see if the default settings can be improved. All in all, very pleased with the TV (apart from a delivery problem with Citylink).

recently brought the tv, and its Awsome. i was thinking of buying the samsung as mymate as got it, but this was cheaper and had the same spec.
the picture is mind blowing and the sound quality is fantastic

Gorgeous picture!
It wasn't part of the plan - but because of the great picture quality I'm now mostly using it as a PC monitor. This may turn out to be a problem in the summer as the TV gives off a considerable amount of heat.

Excellent picture quality on both analogue and freeview. Spend a little time setting it up to suit your own preferences. Standard DVD's look great. Even our old videos are more enjoyable. It is a doddle to set up and use. Sound is not spectacular but acceptable and fed thru' a sound system there is much improvement. Occaisionally it is very slow to respond to the remote control, but switching the power off at the socket reboots it and it is back to normal. (bear in mind all digital equipment can crash) Perhaps a future software download will correct this minor problem. Overall, well worth considering.
