if your looking for a decent size tv at a decent price, then this tv is a must buy. ive been scrattin my head for ages on what to get. when someone pointed me to this 'Hannspree - 32" Widescreen' i order'd it saturday along with a wall mount and by tuesday its all set up and beaming away with first class results. if i had the money i would buy another. but now im skint but happy . thanks amazon for a great service 10**********

For the price this TV is great only one problem with it though.
the sound on the TV every so often just goes off when the sound on the program goes quiet but i guess you cant complain for the price ill just but my own speakers

Purchased one in December 2007 for 400
Pluses: Cheap, solid build and looks pretty good, adequate connectivity
Minuses: Poor contrast with inadequate and blocky blacks, obvious motion blurring, no freeview, no Sky code.
Also quite heavy for its size. I made the mistake of assuming that it would fit a VESA 200 x 200 wall bracket that I already had, in fact it needs the 400 x 200 more commonally associated with 37" and larger flat screens.
With hindsight I should have waited for the Jan sales and picked up an low-end/clearance Toshiba or other name brand for very little more.

Please don't believe any low ratings you read for this TV.
It really is very excellent, and worth twice the amount!!!!
There are four standard picture and sound selections, plus user settings for the picture, and sound (using the equalizer). For sound, in user mode for sound, press menu, press down,left, down again,left to enter equalizer setting mode.
The picture is crisp, clear and bright and won't be any trouble in response time(8ms)with fast sports and football. As with all LCD TV's the larger the TV the greater the motion blur, but from normal viewing distance, this is absolutely minimal. For normal viewing, I set the sharpness to 73.
Once the equalizer is adjusted to your taste the sound is great with good dynamic range, ..and has audio outputs to connect to your stereo or hi-fi.
When set correctly, the picture has excellent contrast, good blacks and white, excellent colour balance and good picture visibility in dark scenes.
Overall really worth buying - you certainly won't do better without digging very deep into your purse or wallet !!!!
