Total Tv Satisfaction December 17, 2006 P. Sullivan 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
So easy to set up.... Pin Sharp quality & Excellent value for Money, I spent several months looking for an LCD Tv and time & time again the Samsung came out the best value and quality. I think you would be hard pushed to find something that doesnt tick all the boxes of what you would want from an LCD TV. The only thing that I will say about it is, with most LCD TV's that I looked at & read about is the sound from the TV speakers is a little weak, (you would have to spend quite alot to get the best of both worlds and theres really no point). Its very good , but I would recommend backing it up with a surround sound system to get the max out of it & believe me, you wont be disappointed.
Superb picture quality and looks great too .... although ..... November 6, 2006 A. Nokes (London) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Although the picture and sound quality is fab, and the TV looks amazingly good, occasionally the top of the screen flashes bright green. This is really annoying and is apparently a common fault on this model (don't know if it's fixable). The other thing is there is no on-off button, only standby.
Excellent TV but not without it's faults. March 12, 2006 Paul Barnard (Scunthorpe, Nth Lincs United Kingdom) 42 out of 43 found this review helpful
I replaced my Panasonic 28nch Quintrix with this model and on the whole have been very pleased with the results. If you want value for money then look no further. the PC input is brighter and crisper than my 17in TFT and handles my XBox 260 superbly well. So rather than focus on the good points of which there are many, I'll tell you what I was disapointed with... 1) The picture in picture function is very limited. You can only use it with the PC or HDMI inputs. 2) It takes far too long to change from one channel to another when viewing digital channels (approx 5 secs). 3) No form of PDC which I really miss. 4) Headphone socket is on the rear of the set!!! Saying that this is the best value for money 32inch LCD on the market. Highly recomended.
Beautiful March 9, 2006 C. Quinn (County Louth, Eire) 35 out of 37 found this review helpful
I got some earache from my wife for buying this, as we'd only bought a 28" CRT TV about six months earlier. But the complaints stopped when she saw it in action! This is a beautiful set that I can't really fault (except that I've maybe seen LCDs with a wider range of acceptable viewing angles, although this is fine at most angles you're likely to be sitting at). Sharpness is excellent, colours natural, blacks almost plasma-like, and the unavoidable LCD smearing is kept to a minimum. Two things really set it apart. Firstly, features like the dynamic contrast adjustment and brightness sensor actually WORK rather than being merely gimmicks. Secondly, the connectivity is decent at the price, with VGA, DVI and HDMI. There are more and more supposedly 'HD-ready' sets around, but they don't all have both HDMI and an appropriate pixel resolution. The on-screen controls are very well designed too. HD TV mightn't quite be here, but an HMDI connection to a progressive scan DVD player will give you phenomenal results on this TV (especially with a movie that was digitally mastered - I recommend 'Brotherhood of the Wolf' as a test!). It's one of the best purchases I've made.
Superb - I really can't fault it February 22, 2006 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
This screen is everything I hoped it would be. The only drawback of owning it is that it will show up every flaw in whatever signal you provide it with. For example, the output from my Tivo was nowhere near as good as from the integrated tuner. No surprises there, as the Tivo has to connect via a SCART lead, but I can't wait to try Sky HD. XBox 360 games look stunning, as to the downloadable HD movie trailers. If I were splitting hairs, I'd say the integrated speakers are poor, but anyone that can afford this, probably doesn't use them, relying instead on a 5.1 amp or hi-fi. This is also a fault on all flat panel screens, irrespective of brand. Buy one, you will not be disappointed.
