Looks good, but is glitchy and unreliable January 7, 2009

Since buying it 3 months ago, ive had nothing but problems. After initially formatting the drive to fat32, (which subsequently prevented me copying large media files i.e. my blu-ray collection of which most exceed the limited 4gb)i copied my dvd collection, photos and some documents from my laptop so that i could then view them on demand through my tv. Its a great idea doing this as it gets rid of all those dvd boxes that clutter your front room, but this media drive just frustrated me! problems such as freezing while copying files from my laptop, occasionally displaying 'hdd not detected' when switched on, slow to navigate on screen menus and a feeble excuse for a remote control that u virtually have to hold directly in front of the sensor in order for it to work!! To top it all, last week the hdd decided tobreak completely and now i have lost everything i copied on to it! Now i understand i may just have had a faulty one, but i find it hard to recommend buying this to anyone when there are so many others on the market these days. Oh...but it does look kinda nice!
