hi in the product spec it says that you can copy files from lan port but there is not were, were you can.

Used many media recorders, but found this one very easy to set-up and easy to install a HD. All the connection on the back you could ever require and well built. Simple front and a bit big on the outer box cannot hear the fan when used for sometime which is a great bonus. Overall not back for the money and make sure you used a fast HD. Good all round Media Player/Recorder.
