To be honest this product does what it says on the package and for this price you get a lot of features.
I'm not even so disturbed by the cheap case and the dodgy buttons. The real problem is the usability. After a couple of minutes you just want to smash it against the wall. Don't be fooled by the nice interface on the product photos here. You will only see that on the first menu page, everything else looks like it was designed for the good old C64.
As an example to go up and down in a menu you have to press the right and left arrows and not as with every other device in this universe the up and down arrows. It makes my brain hurt. Sometimes you have to press a button longer to go up a level in the navigation sometimes its the left arrow and if you are really lucky you have to press a special button on the side of the player. But don't press it to long or the player will turn itself off - ignoring the fact that there is a specific on/off switch for that.
And don't you love these fullscreen animations which only tell you that the Hold function was just deactivated which of course makes it impossible to control the device for several seconds. I could continue that list of stupid interface bugs for a couple of pages ...
The few hardware bugs that i found where that it does not support 8gb memory cards as suggested by the description - i think it only allows an overall memory of 8gb including the internal 2gb.
You cannot unmount this device on the Mac - you just have to pull the plug - and hope for the best.
The radio reception is not working at all - i tried it several times and had no luck getting any signal at all (center of London).
The user user interface/firmware makes this otherwise relatively OK product completely useless.
This product deserves a big NO - don't buy it
in fact don't even get it for free - it won't make you happy.
