Have used this thumb drive for about a year now. had no problems what so ever.
Once i left it in a pocket of my jeans, it was washed in a washing machine and then tumble dried. I found it later and it still survived with all the files on it.
Still using it till now. what a great product!!!

Have had this for about 5 months now - no problems whatsoever. Decent build, decent read/write speeds. For the price it's great value and I would happily buy more of them if I needed to.

I've had this device for about 8 months. It works perfectly on all the PCs I use, including Win 2000, Win XP and Vista. I find it fast on all the file types. It's barely wider and thicker than the USB connector, so will fit almost anywhere. The cap is very secure.
The 3rd party backup software that comes with it is on a trial basis only, and frankly there is probably better backup software available for free. The absence of a neckstrap is a bit mean, but it is a high quality product in every respect.
Highly recommended.

Owning other Freecom drives and having good past experience with them my first choice when buying a USB stick was Freecom.
I bought two of these to take advantage of free freight. To use it really is as simple as plugging it into the USB port and start copying files accross. The unit is a good size and weight and it has a feel of quality about it.
The second USB stick was for my uncle, being somewhat of a technophobe he had no problem getting his head around the simple process of backing up his small amounts of data to his stick.

Very simple and good value, out of the packet it really is so simple to plug into the USB port and start dragging files across. I am particularly impressed by the build quality it is very sturdy and a secure fitting cap gives reassurance that it won't come off and get lost the first time you put it in your pocket.
Well worth 5 stars!
