It is 7" portable LCD TV with both analogue and Freeview turners and built-in rechargeable battery, which enables you to watch over 40 Freeview channels, 5 analogue channels, listen to all digital radio stations and play video, music, photos in MP3, WMA, MPEG4, AVI, JPEG formats from memory cards directly and external mass storage with USB interface. New version has kept its lightweight and stylish design. It is an ideal handheld portable TV and media player for holidays, cars, boats, bedrooms and kitchens and can also output TV and video to a large screen in your home as a Freeview set-top box and digital media player. Please note that there may be difficulty to receive Freeview TV signal by the included portable antenna in some areas in the UK at present where the signal is not sufficiently strong. This is due to that the Freeview service (freeview.co.uk) in the UK will not fully support portable TV antenna before completion of Digital Switchover (digitaluk.co.uk). The reception will be improving along with the progress of the Switchover Program. A signal amplifier or booster may improve reception capability in regions where the signal is marginally strong. (Please note that reception capability may also be affected by various factors such as proximity to Freeview TV/digital radio transmitters, tall building structures, thick walls, ceilings and etc.). A rooftop TV aerial may be required at present to watch Freeview channels in regions where the Switchover is yet complete.

For ages I have been looking for a tv to just sit on my bedside cabinet and this one is so compact it fits a dream.
The picture quality is outstanding and it is so easy to use even for me. The overall design is neat and tidy and I would fully recommend it

This will not work without a proper aerial, therefore is not really portable. You can use it as a 'set-top box' to turn your analogue TV at home into a digital one to pick up Freeview etc. but these boxes cost next to nothing these days in the shops, so you're better off either getting a cheap one from a store or buying a proper TV with a built-in one.
Don't be fooled by the positive descriptions of this thing, which were probably written by employees of the the vendor. Its not worth the money.

Plug it into an outdoor, roof top ariel and its magnificent, plug it into anything else and it is pointless. Portable suggests it can be watched on the move, but I can't, for one, take a chimney on the train with me.

hello i got this product and i think its good the signal is ok and very good. i got a telecam antenna inside
digital antenna but very good. I'm going to ask why they don't have a red and green and yellow and blue and a txt button
which will let you go into digital text services. I recommend this product, a smash hit for kids and everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
