BEAUTIFUL ...but LOUD! July 11, 2008 Mr. H. Bapulah (UK) Its a real stunning case. Although the case does scratch easily and with 4 built in fans, its NOT quiet! i love the look though!
Classy PC case July 6, 2008 M. Lindley-Thompson (South Wales, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a gorgeous, completely see-through perspex ATX PC case. It's very stylish; you don't need to be a gamer to appreciate something like this sitting on your desk. You don't need to fill it up with neon cabling either - although it might be fun to experiment with that. I simply enjoy the novelty of being able to see all my carefully selected components as they produce magic on my screen. Practically: the case is screwed together on all sides with Phillips head (cross type) screws which means that you can remove any side or sides of the case you want. In fact, if you really wanted to, you could reduce it to a pile of perspex plates and joining cubes. An advantage of this is that you can remove the side with the motherboard stands on and attach the motherboard without having to work inside the case. Once you've finished, screw that side back on with the motherboard attached. Then unscrew the other side, and maybe the top and bottom of the box, and carry on installing components. The obvious cons of perspex are that you have to be very careful about ESD (static) - you can't earth yourself using the case - and it scratches easily. However, these things can be worked with/around. It's also worth noting that the box doesn't come with any documentation, but then again, apart from motherboards, most PC components don't seem to. At any rate, I'm still spending lots of time gazing at my lovely non-beige, non-macho-black, flight of fancy...
