 Good value, but could be better... November 30, 2008

At under 15 this is very good value for money. There are a few qualms - you cannot fast forward within tracks and as the unit is prone to being banged by your hand (as you change gear) it is annoying when it reboots and starts a track all over again. Again, if it is music, not really a problem, but for audiobooks it is a pain.
Also the perennial problem that as you drive around the country local FM stations can interfere with the signal. I find I have to keep changing the transmission frequency to listen without fading and other forms of interference.
However, I really do rate this unit - especially like being able to insert a 2GB SD card and listen to music without fuss and bother (complaints above aside.)

For the price, this is an excellent piece of kit with reasonable audio quality once an (almost) unused FM frequency has been selected. Unfortunately the instructions are pathetic. Thanks to Mr Richard Brown (see his comments) I now know that it can shuffle the tracks and that the volume it transmits to the radio can be modified - nothing was mentioned in the instructions or on the Amazon site to suggest this. This is simply the best available MP3-FM transmitter yet. I have tried the expensive ones, including Venturi and Kensington but the quality of FM transmission was very poor. As a stand alone MP3 player with the ability to read from either a SD card or a USB stick, its simply a bargain at this price. There is an audio jack input through which you can connect your MP3/ipod. But why bother; simply copy the songs to USB stick or SD card and ENJOY.

Read other reviews before buying this product so i expected a product a lot more impressive than it really is. Sure delivery was quick , very well packaged , but item itself is a bit flimsy and there is a lot of hissing on music playback whatever FM station you decide to line up to. Tried product, very unhappy , i think the people from Tecknet must have written the other reviews i read here on Amazon because they don't match up with my findings.Don't make the mistake that i did, by the way also over inflated postal charge also.
