This is a perfectly good little TV for the bedroom or similar small room.
The SD picture quality is very good provided you are viewing at the correct angle and distance, i.e. at least 6ft away from screen. Close up and at an angle anything other than straight on the picture loses a lot of definition and clarity, but what 19in LCD wouldn't?.
I haven't tried Blu Ray on it but it is connected to Toshiba's latest super upscaling DVD player (XD-E500) and this produces very good, almost HD pictures especially on more recent DVDs. No reason to believe it wouldn't handle Blu Ray just as well.
The sound is just OK. It gets a little tinny at high volume and when listening to music but it's not a deal breaker, and besides you're never going to get top quality sound from a small, LCD TV. As has previously been mentioned, if this is a big concern then a pair of external speakers can be easily connected.

This tv is by far the best 19'' high contrast with digital tuner out there, i bought this primarily as a tv and as a screen for my 360. It is awesome. I spent three to four weeks looking for a screen, the 22'' is ridiculously similar to this one due to the con in diagonals being the size of the tv. This tv looks good, feels good and sounds good. Possibly the best 19'' tv out there, with 2 hdmi ports, dvi and component cables. Just awesome.

We have recently bought this product and are amazed at how easy it was to install. Also the picture quality on both computer monitor and tv is excellent. Well worth the money . We have it connected to the computer most of the time but using the remote we can easily change it on to the TV when we like.It comes with Freeview as an added bonus and i have already recommended it to several of my friends.
