Before buying this monitor I was using a LG 32" 1080p screen made in 2007, I thought the quality couldn't get better and buying a smaller monitor for Graphic Design I would have considered it a downgrade, before I plugged in.
The box is well stocked, appropriate manual/CD with larger manual with a variety of languages, UK power cable AND an EU power cable to clear up confusion, with DVI and VGA cables so you won't need to order anything seperate bar you don't have an HDMI cable. I was worried coming all the way to France through Germany to Northern Ireland the screen would be damaged/dead pixel'd but it was fine, the glossy like screen showed a small scratch but it wasn't visable from any angle once you turn it on.
The colours are amazing, on a standard setting you can't go much better as every colour is purely defined and extremely rich. The lush jungle environments of Crysis at 1920x1200 on Very High DX10 is mindblowing, the colours were spectacular at 1360x768 but wow! Games are made for 1920x1200, every game has so much more clarity and higher texture detail, Fallout 3 looks so much better! and you don't really need AA at this res either, but make sure you have the power to compensate for the huge res! For graphic design (the main reason I bought it) it has all the space you need on the screen and great colours to bring any picture to life, being 8 inches smaller I have to remind myself about the size, because the res is just better than 1080p/1360x768 (the latter I would use most before) Just like the games DVD's and HD-DVD's are fantastic, so it's a must have for HD movies/games. I tried my Xbox 360 Elite through HDMI and the quality was still excellent on Gears Of War 2 and Ace Combat 6, great colours and smooth movement/no visable ghosting.
I did not notice any ghosting or delaying while testing the monitor, it really is a 2ms despite being a TN panel "cheap low quality" TN being the only 24" panel except for a expensive Dell model. The controls are easy to use and allow you to customize the contrast and brightness (it's extremely bright when you turn it on at first, set to 85 on "Default" preset) which I use for everything. The viewing angles from the side are great, it barely changes from the tightest angle unless you've a bright light shining on it, as for Vertical it isn't as tight and you can see a very light tint of blue at the top when you don't look at it directly.
My only real problem with the monitor overall is that it shakes easily if you are a fast yet rough typer like myself although my desk has seen better days so a higher quality desk would probably solve that, but it ain't a big problem, and on the sides of the screen (on the plastic around near the back) there is a spot of silver which I think would be much better as black! :P
You would be missing out on fantastic quality to pick up a different model, Acer aren't a brand I'm familiar with and this product is full of quality, it will satisfy anyone, so go spoil yourself! and remember, buy by product and not by brand! Anyone concerned with Pixmania should know they are very legit, the 24-48 hour delivery only at 36 may seem really steep at first, but it's a great price to pay for coming all the way from France to the UK, especially since it came to the west of Northern Ireland in 18 hours! (Google for (pixmania discounts) before buying ;)

Just to say I bought this monitor a month or so ago and now I can't get my staff off it. We have used it for training to groups and personal computing. About to buy another for at home. Left off one star as I haven't had a chance to test it through all applications but so far very pleased. It looks smart - and PIXMANIA delivered in 2 days all complete including 2 mains leads (UK and a European one with fixed adapter) so no problems there.

Very good sreen for its price.
- 24" - for full HD
- Response time 2 ms - great for games
- bright and with good contrast
- D-Sub, DVI-D and HDMI input
Bought it from Pixmania and it DOES come with an UK power plug ( yet they still supply EU power plug and fused EU->UK adapter in there). Also D-Sub and DVI cables are provided.

Simply put this is perhaps the best monitor on the market. The image quality is absolutly superb. I originally bought this to use with my laptop when it was docked, however due to the absolutly amazing colour depth and image definition I have decided to purchase another one for my main desktop. The screen resolution is perfect if you are working with multiple documents of need to real estate due to cluttered application user interfaces like visual stuido or photoshop.
The controls are straight forward and easy to use allowing for simple configuration and callibration. The screen even performs well when using its non-native resolution.
