Never having bought a separate monitor before I was a bit wary but I wanted a bigger screen. I read the other 2 reviews listed and thought - seems straightforward. It was. The instructions aren't too clear for a complete novice - I gained the impression I needed Vista before trying with XP. Then - an excellent picture with simple plug 'n play - no footerin'. Only one flaw, the built-in speakers sound decidedly "tinny", but I have my own and would think that most other folk would be the same. Warranty and back-up appear to be first-rate. All-in-all an excellent buy.

I thought I was ordering the HW223DP which has the USB facility. However I realise now that I don't need it! My PC is bristling with USB ports.
So what I have is a BIG screen with simple controls (a bit too simple as I can't adjust the picture to my own likes, as it does all adjustments automatically, rendering manual adjustment redundant - so why have the buttons?). Set-up was utterly simple - plug and play - boom-boom!
Certainly my best buy for a long time.

I've been looking for a larger screen for a while and searched quite a few in my price range and decided on the HannsG 22" 5ms DVI MM Black LCD Monitor although it dosen't state the warranty I guessed it would have the same as the other Hanns monitors, a 3yr. on site warranty, fortunately it has. it comes with a quick start guide booklet, cd installation guide with drivers for windows vista, power lead,vga cable,(DVI-D cable not supplied,but has the socket available ) and audio cable.although the set up is really fool proof.unpack,clip screen to base,connect cables connect to PC,and switch on, I have windows XP and it was up and running strait away, no problem and didn't need to make any adjustments at all.I do use separate speakers although the built in speakers do work,separates always give better sound.if I do need to make any adjustments the controls are conveniently located on the front tucked neatly away underneath and easily accessible.It's easy to read two documents side by side being widescreen and my eyes are no longer straining to look at my bulky old 15"
