Although this flash drive is very nicely made Mac users should be aware that it is not fully compatible with the Mac OS. The drive launches a U3 system icon, the software of which is designed to allow transportation of applications as well as data, and this is non-functional on Macs. The flash drive storage partition itself works normally but you are faced with a CD-Rom icon on your desktop every time you insert the stick. SanDisk has just made available a U3 system removal tool for OS X 10.5 Leopard. This seems to work fine although you need to download Cruzer utilities from SanDisk. All-in-all this is a very classy drive. Just be aware of the additional steps necessary if you are a Mac user and wish to remove the U3 system.

This device is huge in comparison to modern day USB pen drives; It has a snazzy action to get the actual connector out and another to get it back in again. When the connector is fully retracted it actual gets sealed in and covered which is nice. The only suprise was the size. The surface is subject to finger print markings but that's a minor, it also comes with a pouch which has a keyring attached to it, but the pouch just makes it seem even bigger;
My drive came up with 7.37GB showing as available, and two drives, (one is the launch pad for u3 and the other is the main storage) The main storage drive (H: in my case)had a preconfigured arrangement of folders; Documents at the highest level and then Music, Downloads, Pictures and Videos under that.
I copied approximately 3GB of data onto it in just over 3 minutes. Which is fairly good. (I have also setup U3 to encrypt the drive, not sure if this adds any overhead)
Other than the size I am happy with the build quality and performance.

This is a brilliant memory stick that is both incredibly quick and stylish. I reccomend for anyone with a need to quickly move around large files. It is great for any files and works with playstation 3, xbox360 and computers

Brilliant for the first 3months...but then became very fragile, Have to sold it in USB slot for me to be able to see files. I have to now back up daily as at any moment it may not work! I cant risk losing all my college work..soon im going to have to buy a new one. Waste of money if you need it long term.

Luxury unit. It is kind of like having a Nokia 8800. it is not any faster than Titanium (even slower then Titanium Plus version) but it is a state of art. It stands out of all USB my friends own like Bentley would stand out in the Tesco's car park.
Buy it to please your eyes. And it is pretty fast!
