5 out of 5 stars Really Enjoyed this game!!   August 29, 2008
LW (Birmingham, UK)
I bought this game thinking it would be like the Sims,It's even better than any sims game i have bought, totally addictive, I have not beeen able to put this game down since i got it, this game draws you into their world. If you have patience then this is the game for you. As that is the key to this game you need to build up your levels for food, stamina etc, before you can start exploring this vast island, you also need to understand that you will need to stay at base camp every few days to re-stock up on food and firewood etc before continuing on your exploration but it is worth it, even the hunting kept me busy for days. I will definately be buying the 2nd game in this series.

5 out of 5 stars Hey what's with the negatives!   August 1, 2008

I really enjoyed this game and find some of this other reviews a bit harsh - yes it is a bit tricky to get started to ensure you don't starve, but after a couple of days in the game you really get into the swing of it. The building option can be tricky but just do a 'Quick Save' before starting so that you can go back if you mess up - simple! Once you have your food and shelter sorted, go explore and hunt and the game just gets better and better - loved it!

3 out of 5 stars Room for improvement   July 10, 2008

Been watching Lost? well now is your chance to see if you can survive on a desert island. This game makes great use of the DS touch screen - you have to rub sand away to reveal shells and shake coconut trees not to mention make fire. Its very much a sim game and as always you have to keep your hunger, energy, water levels up. Unfortunately thats its down side. Sometimes you just want to go and explore but find you have to stay near the campsite because the other character will need food\water. I think the game could be improved if the other person you are looking after had some intelligence. You can leave them in sight of the river and yet they will still need you to come back and hold thier hand and drag them to it, to drink. It would be far better if you only had to look after number one!. The building furniture side of things is useful but VERY frustrating! and once you have messed you, you have wasted some precious materials!.

4 out of 5 stars Lost in Blue...........   May 28, 2008

Lost in blue is a game similar to trace memory,as it tells a mystery story. The plot is based on some people that are marooned on an island in the ocean. The character's name is Keith and soon you find a companion. You collect items like bark, seaweed and twigs. If you don't have an instruction booklet it doesn't matter as the game is simple. The graphics are average.

I bought this game a few months ago along with Lost in Blue 2 as I thought at the time, once this game was finished, you needed the sequel. Anyway you don't, the sequel is the same as this but with a few better additions. So I'm giving this one away for Christmas and keeping number 2!!

It's a bit repetitive, but once you get in the game properly it gets easier. Although I'm too scared to venture too far from the cave incase i die or the girl does! So in number 2 it's better because the girl does more stuff for herself, or you can play the girl instead of the boy. So if you want this game, please dont bother with this one, get numer 2 instead!
