Erotica Island (PC CD)

this is awful!

Bad bad publishers! If you MUST, in 2001, make a point and click adventure of the type where you move the mouse randomly around the screen hoping for the cursor to change please: a)Include more than 18 locations(and thats including the map and inventory screens!) b)Make clickable things clickable from the outset so its not so linear (I spent ages knowing I had to click an item but couldnt until Id done something else and the two werent even related) c)record your audio in something other than your gran's outdoor toilet d)Make your locations LOOK NICE, especially when theres so few of them

Anyway you're supposed to help your character escape from the island by scoring with half a dozen or so girls. The challenge, well the gameplay challenge, isnt much of a challenge at all, its obvious from the outset what you need to do. The real challenge lies in overcoming bug ridden software which causes at least one character to appear and reappear in different rooms after you read the fire notice. The audio is repetetive in the extreme and you have to listen to an annoying 30 second clip EVERY time you try something wrong.

The wait time between your inventory screen and getting back to the game is infuriating (the manual mentions this but the programmers obviously couldnt overcome it/ran out of budget as its excused as "good things coming to those who wait". 25 quid for 16 screens and 3 hours worth of "gameplay"?

A good premise but Id wait til "Erotica Island 2015" - they might have got it right by then

Erotica Island was a very enjoyable game. I originally purchased this game because it seemed to make a change from all the usual P.C. games, and I was also drawn to the sexy animations. The game has a constant flow of saucy lines, and is good entertainment for those over the age of 18. The graphics are very bright and it has some cool music....specially in the Lap Dancing Club. The videos in the game are very cool. It took me about 12 hours to play, and with the puzzles getting harder as you go, it proves quite a challenge. Still when you see what your rewards are.....it has got to be worth all the effort ! If you like comedy,gambling, puzzles and numerous naked and sexy manga babes then this has got to be the game for you !

FANTASTIC! Every guys dream. Sexy and challenging, with a sense of humour-(If only life were so simple!). Erotica Island lays down a challenge, the thrill is in the chase and the chase is made oh so appealling due to the fact you know you'll get what you want in the end.

Is it sexy or is it funny? IT'S BOTH! Quirky with loads of adult entertainment. Buy it, get the boys round and laugh till you wet yourself.
