4 out of 5 stars Good, but not 'Call of Duty 4' good   November 17, 2008
Mrs. W. V. Hughes
I bought this game about six months ago and I was very impressed by the vast customization of the weapon, appearance, protection etc options. I also liked the rank system of the game. the story mode was relatively easy to get through, although I had to recruit the help of a friend in the nevada desert and villa levels at the end. what was also fun was shooting Gabriel at the end, (it is especially funny is you use a Raging Bull or Desert Eagle!). Although when i connect to the internet, RSV2 went from great to absolutly EXCELLENT! The way you earn xp and glide through the ranks is amazing (when i started off doing PS3 network I was a Corporal, now, 5 weeks later I'm a Captain). The multiplayer versus matches are fantastic, along with co-op story mode and terrorist hunt. The graphics aren't quite as good as one of it's closest rivals, CoD4, nor is the online as good, but i'd rate it at 9/10. If you've just connected up to PSN, one of the first games you should get along with CoD4
I hope this review has been helpful and happy gaming!

4 out of 5 stars Very Good   October 20, 2008
Mr. Daniel D. Cope
Its a very good game - I am confused why some have put 1 star? I think perhaps they have gotten confused, its a good game, extremely good AI and gives you freedom and control over your team, even more control than in Brother in Arms, have not played the multiplayer yet but if this is half as good as single player than it will be great!!!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Game   September 27, 2008

R6V2 is a game for people who dont want to run and shoot through a game. It is different from the excellent COD4 or Battlefield, in a way that older gamers would appreciate. The co op mode and the online gameplay are the best I have experienced. With other games you dont have to think much and your fate depends most of the time in how lucky you are. If you are careful enough you can finish an online co op session with no injury and this gives the game an authentic war-battle feel. Buy it and enjoy a well balanced game.

3 out of 5 stars Fun enough, but very repetitive   August 18, 2008
Hector Chumpitas (London)
This game is enjoyable enough, but it lacks variety. The game really only consists of clearing one room after another of bad guys - it gets marginally more interesting when you're on your own, but compared to other shooters like Call of Duty 4 or Medal of Honor it's vastly inferior. The story line is uninvolving, and the dialogue unclear and hard to understand.

2 out of 5 stars Best selling title? why?   August 16, 2008

Starting off on the single player aspect of this game, i was reasonably impressed... the gameplay was fun, made even better by the awesome ability to customize to extreme levels.
Being able to choose between armour effects your mobility and toughness, each important aspects for how you like to play. This gives you added flexibility and control. Improved even more by the co-op play, this gives good re-play.
However, upon playing the multiplayer, i was truly shocked. After being introduced to online play on the likes of Warkawk and COD4, the variety of gameplay in the online mode was terrible, and the graphics even worse. This game offered easily the worst graphics i have ever seen on a PS3, reminiscent of top of the range PS1 games, or poor PS2 games.
I suggest renting this game, or waiting until it comes down in price further...
If you have money to spend on a game that you want to have continous play-time, re-play ability, brilliant online play...choose COD4 over this game any day...
