Not a Party but a damp squib December 14, 2008 Ke Tucker (United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought Wii Fit after reading the reviews here on Amazon (never regretted it) and only wish I had read the reviews for Sports Party before buying it. Compared to Wii Sports, Sports Party is very poor indeed. It's not user friendly, moving from one game to another is unnecessarily slow and even the manual explaining how to work the Wii remote for the games looks cheap. I had a go at the croquet-too slow a game and not really exciting. I was looking forward to the badminton as I really enjoy the tennis on Wii Sports. To say it was disappointing is an understatement. It doesn't show your shots up close but shows the match from a distance-it's like being a spectator at a match rather than taking part. And where's the fun in that? I also would have preferred it if the Mii characters were in the games instead of the athletic characters they have. I'm afraid I didn't party with this game at all and have gone back to my tennis!
Don't waste your money November 21, 2008 Lynsey Morgan (Scotland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
In fact why don't you dig a hole in the garden and put a tenner in there, bury it and then sit on top of it and bash yourself about the head with the shovel, because that is by far more fun than this game.
Its a bit of fun November 13, 2008 Mr. P. Smith (Poole England) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I can see most people have given this game a 1 or 2 star. Its not a bad game. Get some friends round and have a giggle. For 9 its not going to break the bank. Ya its not wii sports but like i say its 9 its a wii its just simple fun.
Actually quite fun, but does get a little boring October 26, 2008 J. W. Hodgins Ok so I got this game with my wii when I first bought it. Some of the games can become a bit boring after a while but overall it isn't actually that bad. I managed to keep some of my friends entertained with it for a number of hours and when you play it individually it is actually possible to only have two players active so you don't have to wait so long or you can play more than one character yourself. I give the game a 3/5.
Do not buy September 12, 2008 P. N. Downes (uk) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
